It’s a great idea to start getting health conscious as soon as possible in your life.  It’s also a well-known fact that a healthy mind and body leads to a long, happy life. One way to improve your health is by reaping the benefits of nature with a Masticating Juicer.

A masticating juicer “chews up” fruits and vegetables instead of shredding them like the more commonly known centrifugal juicer. By doing this, you have less waste and a much higher juice yield.

When it comes to juicing things like wheatgrass, a masticating juicer is the only way to go. The same goes for other fiberous veggies that easily clog a centrufugal juicer. The benefits of wheatgrass are continuously being researched and there are many. The energy boost alone is worth drinking a few ounces of wheatgrass juicer in the morning.

If you’re looking to make the most of your juicing efforts by extracting as much vitamins and nutrients as possible, then you’ll want to consider trying a masticating juicer. With it’s slower speed (usually around 80 RPM’s) it produces less heat, and therefore preserves more of the natural benefits of whatever you happen to be juicing.

Comparing Single Gear Juicers: Champion vs. Omega

There’s a great deal of information out there to help when comparing single gear juicers. My favorite way of comparing single gear juicers is to just look at the different customer reviews on Amazon.

But here’s a video comparing a Champion juicer withe the Omega VRT330 juicer.

Slightly Used Hurom Juicer For Sale

If you’re looking for a good, slightly used Hurom juicer for sale you have a few options. One is to go to an auction site like eBay or you can buy a “New” or “Like New” rated juicer on Amazon.

Amazon has always been my favorite because I’m just not a fan of waiting for auctions that I might not even win when I could already have my juicer on it’s way in the mail.

Follow the linked image above and it will take you to a page full of Hurom juicers. When you find a juicer that interests you, click on it and under the new price, you will most likely see a new and/or used link. Those links will take you to where you need to be to find a slightly used Hurom juicer for sale.

The Omega Vert VRT330 juicer is a 2 horsepower, 2 stage juicer with auto pulp ejection. It also has a reverse function to help clear up any clogging that might happen during juicing.

The motor on the Omega Vert VRT330 juicer has a nice, slow rotation speed at 80 RPM’s. This keeps the heat at a minimum and the nutritional value of your juice at a maximum.

It’s an upright masticating juicer as you can see in the picture above, and comes with quite a few accessories like screens, juice cups, and a cleaning brush.

Champion Juicer Screen

Champion Juicer ScreenLooking to add or replace a Champion juicer screen?

There are quite a few to choose from but a lot of them are universal and fit both commercial and household champion juicers. There are also different sized holes in the screens of different models. So when it say it’s a “Large” Champion juicer screen, it means the screen holes are larger than average. The screens themselves are mostly the same size.

In my opinion, the best way to find the best masticating juicers is to look on Amazon. It’s not that they carry only the best masticating juicers, it’s the fact that they have an enormous amount of customers buying juicers on there every day.

The point I’m getting at is quite a few of those customers will leave a rating and review on the specific juicer they bought. Whether they liked a particular masticating juicer, or they hated it, or they were somewhere in between, they’ll let you know.

So if you’re looking for the best masticating juicers out there, you shouldn’t trust one person’s top ten list or something of that nature. That’s just one person’s opinion. Why not get the opinion of hundreds or even thousands of real customers? Any of the product links on this site will take you to a masticating juicer product on Amazon.

If you’re looking for the most popular masticating juicer out there right now, then you should be looking for an Omega juicer.

Omega makes the 8000 series masticating juicers. It’s a pretty impressive line of products which is one of the reasons that they sell so well.

You can see tons of  positive reviews of models like the J8003, on Amazon. Omega’s juicers are just so handy and versatile that it’s hard not to find a reason to buy one.

One neat aspect of the J8003 Omega juicer is that it has a built-in reverse function. This makes it nearly impossible to have a problem with clogging and jamming. Makes for frustration free juicing!

Champion seems to be more interested in there line of commercial juicers more than anything. There aren’t many champion juicer models that use the masticating process.

One I did find though,  is the Champion Juicer 2000+.  It’s pretty popular model. Probably because it has both centrifuge and masticating juicer abilities. Basically the Swiss army knife of juicers.

Overall, Champion is a very reputable brand. They make good quality juicing machines and back them with a 10 year warranty. So you know they have a lot of faith in their products.

In the market for a good single gear juicer?

There are quite a few models out there, all saying that they’re the best. So it’s understandable if you’re having a hard time deciding who’s telling the truth. Well, the truth is,  it doesn’t matter what the manufacturer says. What really matters is what the people using the juicers say about that particular product they’re using.

These people have field tested a certain masticating juicer for a period of time so their input can be crucial in your buying experience. As a collective group, they can point out any faults a certain juicing machine might have as well as some benefits that the distributor might have never even thought about when they put out the product.

So search around, follow some links and see what others have to say about the current line-up of single gear juicers out on the market now. Good luck and soak up all the information you can!
